Has anyone seen anything about the required modificatin kit being necessary
for the Czech Sport Cruiser, a 601XL derivative? The guy in the hanger next
to me would like to know, as he has one.

Jim,
He might call Aviator Air Centers, Inc. at Grand Prairie Airport (KGPM) 972-988-8609. They have a Sport Cruiser they use for Sport Pilot training, so if it needs the mods, they would probably know..

Based on the pictures of the Czech Sport Cruiser wing spar we have in the ZBAG photo sections, the wing spar is already beefed up. I doubt that Zenith modification kit will fit the Sport Cruiser however, it might not need further reinforcement.
Your hangar neighbor should check with Czech aircraft work anyway.
