I guess it all depends on just who it is doing the "Close Swoops"??
So, you're standing on your balcony just chilling, when...
See this pic ----> http://www.orionite.com/close_swoop.jpg
This picture captures the moment a US Navy pilot gave a shocked resident a
very close look at his F18. The fighter/bomber streaked past an apartment
block on the banks of the Detroit River (almost like those L-39 drivers we
recently read about??). It was part of a tactical demonstration fly-past to
open a speedboat race in the North American city.
One resident said, "I couldn't believe how low they flew and how close they
came to our building, I'm sure the pilot waved at me."

"Jet noise. The sound of Freedom." Besides, they had the right markings and
they flew on the East Coast. We're used to seeing Vipers, Hornets, and
Eagles flying up our rivers and over our lakes. Bet you don't get that kind
of whining at Pensacola, Fort Walton, and Panama City when the Blues, the
Eagles, Raptors, and Vipers are in town. Having done the "Beach Run" more
than once in the Viper, have not soaked up a complaint so far. But was
smart enough to stay 1000 ft from structures and boats though.
