The temps you quote are VERY close to the temps I also see on my 503 DCDI.
(my CHT might be a smidge higher) My Plugs always look just right in color
and what I can see on the top of my pistons also looks good. I consider
this to be normal for my engine. If I ever see visual signs that something
isn`t right, that`s when I will be concerned. My CHT senders are placed on
the rear spark plugs of each cylinder. This is suppose to be the hottest
plug area as far as temps go. Lanny FSII N598LF

Thanks Lanny, Guess I'll tie her down and run to eliminate the ram air effect. Have you ever checked temps on the ground? Cheers, Dave
