I used the toilet grab bar method of penetrating the firewall for wiring. It has been a long time, and I'm fuzzy on how to seal those up. I recall people recommending wrapping the wire bundle with firesleeve and then sealing it with something. Can anyone refresh my memory here?
Thanks,

I call it monkey sh*t. In reality, I think it's called "AmpSeal"
(Dielectric Compound???). It's a black rubbery stuff they use to seal
electrical entrances on houses. It is finger mouldable and sticks to
the firewall nicely. Should be available at electrical supply houses
and perhaps Home Depot, Lowes, etc. in their "aviation departments"...

Hi Tom-
I used intumescent caulk. It is a fire barrier that actually swells to
seal gaps as insulation or other materials burn away. Very expensive if
bought from an aviation supply house, quite cheap from the local Lowe's.
