Hi all,
After having sat dormant in my corner for the better part of three years, I
suppose it may be time to part with my Sony setup. The pieces are as follows:
C90 - 7.5-8: the face shows some normal wear, and there is a single column of
pixes out in the middle of teh screen. I only noticed this when i was taking
the unit out, and I did a reverse display to check for dead pixels. Inlcuded
is both remotes, the wired one having never been used, original manuals, trim
ring, and cage. The wiring harness and case show the normal install wear. No
issues with skipping. I have the Optical out adapter, along with an extra
Uni-link cable.
XDP4000 - 9: I still have the little cover on the piece you remove to access
the serial port. The sides show some very minor wear from being mounted in two
cars. I also have the necessary serial cable, along with a laptop if necessary.
CDX-805 - 8: fully functioning, no issues. Plays well, no skipping. The
optical out works flawlessly, and the door is perfect. Some minor wear from
being installed in 3 cars.
I don't really know what to ask. I have seen the setups go for a pretty fair
price on the elitecaraudioforum site. I am willing to include an old p133 dell
laptop for tuning if necessary...its pretty beat, i got it off an old roommate
after he lost the CD-rom, and broke the floppy. About the only thing it will
be good for is using the sony software, or the 4kcontrol, which are both on there.
I would really prefer to sell to someone on the list, at least I know you guys
would really appreciate the setup for what it is. I may part out, but most
likly only if I get offers for all three pieces.
Please don't be shy about sending offers or questions.
Thank you,
Cliff Davis
