This is embarrassing.
I am stuck. Literally. See pictures - this is an A6 pop rivet. It won't budge, in or out.
Access from the back is rather difficult, as the rear and front rib are already riveted. The A6 is one of the two last rivets in this station.
I can remove the rear rib, but that's my last option - and I still will have a stuck A6 after I remove the rear rib.
Suggestions?

I would probably cut it off (dremel tool) then grind it flush. After that, drill it out.

Carlos, drill a hole in the flange that is blocking access to the back side of the rivet. The insert a punch through the drilled hole and tap the rivet back out.

Try using a little penetrating oil and then either wiggle it out like you were doing or us a punch and rap it out if you can figure out a way to get by the flange on the other side.

I'd cut it flush with a Dremel tool and that little fiber cutting wheel, then drill it out with a pneumatic right angled drill and put in a new one going right through all layers. If you do enlarge the hole a bit by doing this put in a small doubler plate as a washer.
Years ago when I went to build my first airplane another experienced builder told me the number one most important and handy tool to have is a Dremel tool. A couple of airplanes later having worn out 2 or 3 of them I sure agree with him.

I'd tap or push the nail in, so the bulge in the nail is through the hole, then grab the body of the rivet with some locking pliers, and wiggle, twist and pull. So what, destroy the rivet, the hole will need re-drilled to accept a new A6, but drilling or hammering from the bulge side with the nail in, expands the rivet, and there is a chance of the drill walking. Save the hole, destroy the rivet.Roy

Is the hole the correct size for the A6? In the pic it looks undersize.

Yes, it is the right size. I did insert with no great difficulty an A6 in the spar bottom hole.
From the replies I got, I believe A6 fit much more snugly than the A4 and A5.
