Hi guys,
I'm looking for a best installation of a coolant heater for the cabin.
My heat muff works o.k. down to freezing, but I'm looking at components
that might offer better cabin warming. Perhaps you Canadians have
a list of parts that better describes what you used and
how you made connections within the cabin.
Even pictures would be nice.
Thanks

This is the one I used.. Price went up alot since I bought mine but it works great and the feature of defroster vents sold me. I can deice my windscreen darn fast too. You can make a heater using a small heater core and a muffin fan but probably not get the BTU's to keep you warm enough.

I use a heater core out of a mid 80s Subaru. It all aluminum with 3/8"
barbed fittings, seems strong and very light. I boxed it in with a 12v
computer fan and piping for defrosters. It would be very difficult to
take pictures now. Take care, Larry, N1345L

Larry
I belly mounted a VW rad, hinged at the front so I can vary the outlet in
flight. Made two inlets into the cabin through the floor and voila. Pic
attached.
