This is a "generic email" I am sending to all of you who have inquired about my Zenith 601xl Kit C for sale. I hope it answers most of your questions. Feel free to contact me if you need more info.
Attached are some photos of the 601xl kit/plane C which I am selling. This kit was purchased in the fall of 2008 - work was begun in November.
Rudder C stab. C elevator C wings C ailerons C and flaps are finished and complete. Fuselage C is complete to the point that the left fwd. skin has been fit C but not the right. The center spar is fit and clecoed in place and the torque tube has been fit. At this point C the "up-grades" to the center spar and fuselage may be carried out without any disassembly of the fuselage.
Though this is a 601xl kit C diagonal "L's" have been installed in the fuselage C per the 650 plans C as well C the top wing skins have the added "L's" per the 650 plans. Every part has been etched and fully primed for corrosion protection (I am on the coast of Maine).
This kit is complete and has the following options C as well: Long range fuel tanks C Aileron Trim Tab Kit C Landing Light Kit C Dual Control Stick Option C and Wing Locker Kit. Wiring is in place for nav. lights but none are included.
