Just a follow up to he previous post. The problem was the probe; First I examined the probe and did not find it to be destroyed like the first so I considered that it might me the bad crimps in the connection to the EIS. After re-crimping and soldering, the probe still read 500F below the others. After replacing the probe with a new higher? quality one from GRT, the #6 probe reacts like the others. For future reference it would probably be in the builders best interest to pay extra for the higher quality probes or get them from Alcore or GEM or EI instead. I have spent an extra 5-10 hours of labor checking and changing these probes. If there is another premature failure on the GRT originals I may try GRT higher quality probes, If #6 fails prematurely I will be going the third party probe route.
