I hope many of you got a chance to go flying on the first day of a new year  and a new decade.  Our weather in Virginia wasn't the greatest, but I did  get several flights in - one in formation with Linda's Lightning.  Also  played with my new Garmin Aera.  I bought this hand held GPS to  replace a Garmin 296 that I have had since they came out (forever?).  So  far I really like the Aera.  It has a touch screen that is a little larger  and intuitive enough so that I haven't even opened the book yet.  I like  that.
