I am working on an Avid Catalina and am
looking for a set of wing tip sponsons/floats.
Anyone know of Catalina parts or a wreck
please post or email. I've seen a couple wrecks
for sale but got no response.

Why not use high density foam carved/filed/sanded to shape then covered with
a layer of two ounce glass? It worked for us in similar applications...
Very lightweight and impervious to puncture.
I thought Avid got rid of the wing tip sponsons in favour of outrigger
floats mounted on the struts
