Typically they were run for 3 to 4 hours during the run in and
testing. We
use mineral oil for the first 30 hours. Our practice is to make an
initial
oil change at 5 to 7 hours and the next change at the 30 hour mark.
We also
check and re-adjust the valves the 30 hour mark and then at every
100 hrs or
annually.

Yes. We have seen engines with serious problems at 200 hrs because the
owners never adjusted the valves.
