Static ports
I have a KitFox drawing showing correct location for the Static port on the KitFox C don't remember just what version it is C but if person wanting info will write C I will dig it out!
If you don't have the static correct your airspeed can be up to 10 mph off C had one customer whose airspeed wouldn't get below 80 mph C finally found just a slight oil can in front of the static port causing a low pressure area over the area of the static port. This was on a Zenith 601 about 10 years ago. plane has over 600 hours on it now C still flying great.
