Am I missing something, or does the hinge go between the plastic and the tube frame? The drawings show it on the outside of the plastic. If that is done, it appears that the back upper corner of the door will bind when trying to close the door. Please enlighten me.

If I remembr correctly, the hinge goes between the bubble door and the tube frame. Otherwise like you said it wouldn't work.

Re the bubble door hinge. The hinge attaches to a U shaped piece of aluminum that is attached to the tube frame. The bubble door instructions show the piece - my kit came without it but Zenith shipped them to me in a few days after I talked with Shirley at the factory. The hinge is at 90 degrees when the door is closed and about 180 degrees when open. The U channel also allows for accurate adjustment of the door for a good fit in the closed position.
