Stormy,

 Are you sure about that 1%?  That's what we'd like the bad guys to  think, but as one of those flight crew members, I can assure you the  number is higher - although certainly not 100%.  After  all, participation is voluntary and done at one's own expense, so not all  are willing to be part of the solution.

 Our training is excellent - but the TSA is currently cutting back on the  number of armed flight crew.  You can help that problem by contacting Janet  at Homeland Security and your senators and congressman.

 We do not need fewer armed pilots - we need more.
