Did any of you notice this door handle.
I am pretty impressed with this one. It does not address the case of accidentally opening the door in flight but I'm not sure if a door has been lost because of that.
Looks like you can purchase the set for $300.
Very simple and easily retrofit-able to the flying RV's with the standard door handle.

I saw this, and like it, I've got Coss handles and latches (similar to Hendrcks). And I think I could easily adapt this to my "Finished" airplane. So far this is the only 'solution' I've seen that I will consider. IT seems that the one item that is uncertain is whether the extra latch/catch is far enough aft to seal the deal.
