This subject has been discussed many times on the Aeroelectric list. 

Typical solutions are Keywest reg, John Deere reg,  heat sink, and 

get the thing on the cool side.

Do a search for many messages. Or just ask Bob Nuckolls for his 

recommendation.

hours on it and it's in need of it's third regulator. Regulator is
