p { margin: 0; }List,

I installed a right aileron temporarily on the wing with out the top skin and found the same thing that Chris did.
The outboard 2 weights hit the rivet line.
We also discovered there was only 82 mm down travel from neutral even if the tube clears the rivets.
Plans call for 85mm.
I still have the 97 deg. shown on the drawings on my protractor and will lay it out and raise the angle to move the end of the tube up 10mm ( which ain't much ). We measured a total of 197mm between the bottom skin and the top so there is enough room for the 170mm total travel but it will have to be centered very precise. Only about 13mm top and 13 on bottom clear.
Has anyone tried to bend the 3/4" square tube after it has been riveted in place??

You can bend the tube the same way you do the canopy tube. .. Place 2 bolts on one side and one bolt in the middle of the 2 bolts on the other and put in a vice and it will bend. Extrusion is brittle and really not supposed to be bent so go easy.
