Isn't it interesting how some people who spent the last two years labeling the aircraft design as defective and demanding a redesign are now attempting to sell their airplanes without mentioning to a prospective buyer either their previous statements and/or an affirmation that the upgrade will/will not solve those alleged problems. Perhaps in the spirit of truth in advertising the ad might read as follows:
601xl project for sale. It is (some unquantifiable) percent built in my (garage, basement, outhouse) with/without any professional help other than a book I mostly read using tools I bought used online from (China, Taiwan, Iran, K-Mart). I know I spent the last two years on websites declaring the design defective while furiously writing to the (FAA, NTSB, LAA, DeC) demanding the airplane be grounded while GVT testing is done so that the airplane can be redesigned, I know that once the testing was done I labelled it false, but what the heck, I'm (not an aeronautical engineer/don't have a pilot's license/have never built an airplane before/ made numerous changes to the structure suggested by anonymous posters on the internet) so you shouldn't listen to me; and I want to sell this(partially completed/ defectively designed, undocumented modified) airplane now to somebody else. Besides, there's now an upgrade kit and even though I demanded all the upgrades be made to the airplane; I didn't buy the kit and won't install it, but you can rest assured that even though I won't get in this thing, you can if you want to. The price is (everything I've spent multiplied by two) reasonable. Caveat Emptor.
