There is a small vent hole in the rear casting housing that bolts to the motor behind water pump that is seeping a little coolant. This motor has sat around for a while. Could someone describe what I'm in for and how and what I need to replace the seal. I believe by looking at the parts book that it is called a rotary seal part number 850-945.

Hi George,
Replace the seal and gasket. Seal 850-945 and gasket 850-981. If a Rotax sits for a long time "O" rings and seals are much more likely to leak. It is better for an engine to be started and run up to temp now and then than let it sit.
