I've just added a solid replacement 3rd latch to my line of parts, it's a 

drop in part for vans SB. (for those who want to adhere to the vans upgrade)

I think it looks a bit more elegant than the aluminum sandwich latch they 

provided. It'll be available online in a couple days on the website.

see this link ( IFLYRV10.COM ) so you can get an idea what it looks like. it 

will be stocked in stainless and aluminum.

    stay tuned for the next version which will be the same basic idea that 

vans provided but will "auto retract" when you open the latch. all to 

prevent the hole on the exterior

of the aircraft. No major mods required..   should be online for sale within 

the week.

Very nice, Steve. I am anxious to see the auto-retracting set up and hope it is an easy retrofit to a flying airplane.

    the main objective was to make it simple and drop in to an already 

existing install. (or install like vans intended but without the exterior 

hole)
