Hi all,
I have this question about the M-14P engine baffling.
The cylinder baffling is quite tight and well made on all the cylinders, there is no waist of cooling air (airplane drag) but the section between the cylinder # 5 and #6 is open. There is a large gap each side of the carburator, should we leave this openning as it is or we need to close that gap with a baffling.
Is this gap needed for the carburator cooling?
Thanks

Sylvan,
Send me a photo off-list (email is below) of the area between cyl. 5 and 6 and I'll take a look at it to see if it's normal or not. Don't get too close because I would like to see the relationship between the cyl. heads and the engine sump.
