Since the wings are opened I decided to calibrate the fuel gauges, which I have not been happy with the first time. The senders (Zenith supplied) test OK (10 Ohm=full, 70Ohm=empty). The problem seems to be with the VDO gauges(P/N301-020) as recommended. Bench testing with the sender out of the tank I can not get the gauges to read above 3/4. I adjusted the screw which did not improve. Any suggestions for other gauges or how to make what I have work. TIA Bob

How about an MGL FF-1 (2.25 inch) or FF-3 (3.125 inch)
http://www.mglavionics.com/html/infinity.html#FF-1
http://www.mglavionics.com/html/velocity.html#ff3
- Advanced fuel computer with 13 different modes of operation
- Supports single or dual fuel tanks
- The FF-1 can connect to one or two fuel flow senders, fuel level senders or fuel injectors
- Differential fuel flow calculations are also supported for fuel return systems
- Fuel flow by the means of measuring the fuel injectors on time is also supported
- The FF-1 can connect to a Stratomaster Infinity ASX-1 via the airtalk protocol for range based calculations. It can also accept a manually entered cruising speed if an ASX-1 instrument is not available
- Standard automotive fuel level senders can be used, even with odd shaped tanks due to a comprehensive, multi-point calibration system
