My eight year old daughter and I just finished the movie. I was about her age when my parents took me to see the movie in a small movie house, while on vacation, up in the town of Mammoth California, which is located in the Sierra Nevada mountains. 

I didn't let my daughter watch the one bad seen which my parent let me watch...didn't seem to stop me.
I still go to Mammoth, it is one of my favorite places and most of the time I soar my glider over those mountains.
