Because of what happened Sunday I will get to carry cribs, strollers, toys, ect..... and don't mind one bit!
I'm glad I have the RV-10.

We had our first child, a little girl around noon on Sunday.
I posted a few pictures here.

Congratulations Scott & Renae.

I'm not sure how much time your new arrival has logged, but here's some helpful hints:

New arrivals are:

Prone to leaks.
Subject to Backfires
Initially unstable in all attitudes.
Require prolonged break-in
Annual condition inspections are noted in the logbook and celebrated with cake, ice cream, and candles
Most maintenance can be performed w/ Repairmans cert, however occasionally you'll want to get an A&P/MD involved
Radios are frequently found to initially operate only in broadcast/output mode, but with increased time, static resolved its self and communication become bi-directional.
You will want to begin to set aside a fund for major repairs/overhauls, graduation, and wedding.
RV grins pale in comparison to those generated by the additional passenger.

Sweet, Deems!!!! Congratulations Scott. You'll have lots of fun. We had our 3rd and final last August. Any more and the rear bench would have to be joined with some kind of jumpseat for the baggage area.

Scott, congrats. You will love the new addition in your life. I have had my 10 flying for almost 2 yrs and I have a 5 yr. old and 15 mo. old. Like many will attest. The 10 fills the mission well for 4 plus lots of kid junk. We did a Charlotte Miami this last December, and had no problem putting cribs, bed rails, and lots of baby stuff in there.
Also the large car seats fit very well in the back.
Again enjoy the new wonder, they are allot of fun.

Scott

Congratulations. I am way past the baby and am glad for it. But I do cherish every minute of it. Enjoy it to the fullest. And never worrie about teenagers they eventually grow up and like their parents again.

Congrats Scott...

Having kids was the best/worst thing I've ever done... and I wouldn't trade it for anything. She's beautiful.

Thanks everyone.
It is really fun to hear about your experiences with your kids.
I think picking her name is even harder than picking the N-Number.

Deems, loved the list.

Hopefully we will see most of you at Oshkosh this year.
I guess Chicago will be her first concert!

Now lets get back to talking about the really important stuff like primer, Latch SB's and EFIS systems Smile

Congratulations!!!! Great pictures, the wall mural is fantastic.

Make sure you keep your RV-10, I’ve used mine to deliver furniture to our (slightly older) daughter in college. What a great airplane!
