Hi All
A bit more guidance please . Now I'm fitting the exhaust to my Tri-gear. Its the latest oval design. The heat shield on mine is very close to the nut on the sump banjo fitting.
Is this normal? What sort of clearance are other builders getting in this area?
Regards

David,Mine was the same way. Don't worry about that as much as dropping the tunnel under it for more than called for clearance. It's the key to proper tri-gear cooling.

David,
Mine was almost touching the bolt, so I simply dimpled the shield about
1" diameter, and all is well...
