Why certainly I do - what’s not to believe? I mean, after all, it IS posted to the internet {:>).
The guy did do a good job of the story. But, the sad truth (as you know), is that the vast majority of readers would buy the story.
There was one circulating a while back regarding the Russian K-7 aircraft that someone had “embellished” through digital “enhancement” that had a cruiser turret (on top AND bottom of the aircraft) and just a whole bunch of stuff that made it clear it would have collapsed under its weight – much less ever fly). But, approx 97% of the comments I saw on the internet made it clear that most folks thought it was real. The real Russian K-7 was a large aircraft for its time, but nothing like that digital joke.
A sign of the times, I guess.
