No, absoutely not. Under no circumstance should you deviate from the plans!!
Never be guilty 'thinking' or 'experimenting', Orville & Wilbur will come back to haunt you.
Its just this sort of thing that results in simplification and quicker first flights.
Easiest route is to double-up on the number of pieces, number of rivets, and amount of time required.
Start by programming the auto-pilot to bypass April 1st, and never, never, never ask a question on this date.
