Use large brass washers or stainless against the fiberglass, then nuts on both sides, then the terminal(s), lock washers and plain brass nuts if you like or star washers to assure the nuts are tight. Cover with a rubber ducky.

Agree,
Note that the extra nuts are important so that connection doesn't loosen as the fiberglass relaxes under pressure, which it will.
