Chris- I used it in an old Chevelle with a 327 high compression engine, to make it start easier in the winter. Worked great, oil consumption went down, hellishly expensive at the time. Nothing bad to say about the brand, except the price.

If you use it at 100:1 in a Rotax 277, the engine will actually rattle, and when you hear it in flight, it is not a smiley face moment. However, it did make it back to the field, and after replacing the 100:1 premix with 50:1, the noise went away. Apparently it gives a really good oil film, but at 100:1, not as much as Rotax intended.
Must not have hurt anything, replaced the Amsoil that same year with the much cheaper Injex, and last I heard, the engine had about 750 hours on it, the only internals I ever replaced in 13 years was one piston and 2 sets of rings.
