Hello!
I made a contraption to charge the gas springs using a piece of pipe.
I put the gas spring in, connected it to a compressor, increased pressure , removed the gas spring and checked the force necessary for compression of the spring. Found no change.
So I kept increasing pressure and repeating the procedure. Still no change of force.
Finally I reached 140psi, which is max pressure I have, and I found no change of the force.
I checked it with both 30 PSI and 40 psi Guden air rprings. same effect.
Are you sure that Guden uses unidirectional seals? Have you ever cut one of these things open?
Or what I could be doing wrong?
Jerzy
