Bruce,

I can't find it in any articles, but at SNF & OSH seminars by Phil Lockwood,
he recommends TCP when using 100LL. You also need to change the oil more
frequently - 25 hrs. Aircraft Spruce sells TCP but it requires a hazardous
fee. They also have another product which supposedly works like TCP but
isn't hazardous. We haven't used either yet. Would be interested in
comments on the "other stuff".

By the way, Bruce, why would you *need* to add something in your fuel ?

Why not just follow the engine manufacturer recommendations ? Thousands
of Rotax are successfully flying in Europe, and 100 LL is the same as in
your country.

Good point, and that is exactly the kind of feedback I'm looking for... My
concern is the lead fouling the plugs and causing buildup on the inside of
the heads/valves, and pistons. I just helped my cfi/AP take her C85 apart
for rebuild with 2300hrs smoh, and I've seen what lead buildup can do to an
engine that is designed for a lower lead fuel...

It seams to me, in the higher compression 912S, these uneven deposits would
increase the chance of detonation or pre-ignition????
