I recently received an e-mail from a lady in California whose dad had
died with an unfinished 701 and is looking for a buyer. Here is some of
her e-mail. Here is the e-mail address if anyone is interested,
howado1(at)comcast.net. His daughter's name is Kathryn.
"I found your Zenith 701 builder's web site, including Pegastol wing
construction, to be of great interest. My father, a design engineer,
passed away before he could build out his CH701 Pegastol. He built
the
fuselage and rudder and was about to start on the Pegastol wings
when he
became too sick to continue. We housed the fuselage and wings (in
crate) in private storage, January, 2010. We are looking for a buyer."
She goes on to say the all of the start up tools a available too.
Since there were only 36 kits made, this might be a chance for someone
to get a rare set of wings. Which, by the way are tons better than
Zeniths in every way. And that is not just my opinion, it is fact.
