G'Day Bruce,
I flew my Rotax 912-powered ultralight around Australia, and by necessity
had to use 100LL and Avgas 100/130, which has much more TEL than the 100LL.
The engine didn't seem to suffer any ill effects despite my continued use of
full synthetic oil (Amsoil 20w-50). However, I was happy to return to
unleaded about 92 flying hours later. And yes, I did change my oil and
filter about half way around, and again on my return.
