I'd be interested in alternative throttle arrangement. Does anyone have
pictures or descriptions of what they have done?

Curt, here is one alternative throttle arrangement - on the pilot side I have a ACS friction throttle and on the right side I have for weight reasons replaced the T-bar with my deceased fathers carbon fiber fishing rod having added a knob at the end. The transversal throttle bellcrank friction is adjusted to just hold the throttle setting. Throttle locking and additional friction is done twisting the pilot side friction lock. From the bellcrank transversal bar to the Rotax 912S carburettors there are push-pull rods and no cables. I have not tested the the bar arrangement yet, in theory any engine based rotational vibration should not affect the carburettors and any other vibration mode should be minimal with the old style engine bed. It will be interesting to seee how this rod arrangement will work in practice. Rgrds, Max
