Gidday,
I am very interested in both of these Manufacturers, the MGL Odyssey/Voyager or the Dynon 180/Skyview. The issues I see are the response rates of their Artificial Horizons. The MGL seem to have little lag.
I would like to know if the Dynon has a lag, or whether Dynon owners might be able to take a look at this link and tell me if they think theirs is quicker or slower. Here is a link.

Also, the MGL seems to be very flexible with mapping solutions, and very tailorable in how you present your information, as the device can be plugged into a PC, and all the presentations can be manipulated to an eye pleasing outcome.
I think Dynon is less flexible, but does offer I think 9 presentations, which is a heck of a lot. Dynon however seems to be far less flexible with the mapping. In truth, I think I will be using a Garmin AERA as my primary navigation device with its airspace alarms etc, as the information seems more stable, unless of course the Dynon mapping and Airspace is stable and reliable, if in fact I choose that over the MGL Voyager. BUT, the way it presents flight instruments, principally Attidude, is my primary decider, so back to my original question...................does the Dynon compare???
