Gentlemen - I am building an 801 and in my attempt to attach the wings to the fuselage attachment points (forward cabin frame "U" joint), I find my spars are too large to fit completely within the "U" joint slot. In measuring the differences between the thickness of the spar and the smallest width of each slot - I find one of the differences is .54mm and the other is .81mm. It is impossible to insert the wing spar onto the fuselage attachments. Is there any history of this problem on any of the 801's or 701's you have built or are building? If so - How did you resolve the problem? - and - Was the spacing difference as large as mine appear to be? Thanks for your help.
