Hello all,
I noticed that during my past two IFR flights, my XM receiver stops updating if I am in solid IFR for a while. This is precisely the time I need it most.
The first time it happened, I did not think much of it but yesterday I did not have service for exactly one hour while IMC and in on/off light rain. On subsequent flight, on the same day (not IFR any more) I had good reception.
I have a GRT with XM weather and I wonder if anyone has experienced the same issue.
Thanks,
Rob

My antenna is on the dash. It is a cheesy antenna that has always worked. It just lays on the dash along with the GRT back up GPS antenna.
