Hi Guys, we are having a lot of trouble getting the engine fired up and need some advice from those that have the Ellison Throttle Body. I disassembled, cleaned and reassembled it after the crash and hoped like hell that I had the settings back where they belonged but I think the settings are all wrong. Does anyone have any experience with these. Its a model EFS-2 and I thinking that if I cant get some good info on it I'll have to send it back to your side of the world for repairs. To those who contacted me off list about the wing strut ends, John McBean has had one turned for me so he can help if your stuck. Thanks Guys
Cheers

Are you absolutely sure it's a fuel problem Graeme? If you go to the
Ellison web site you can download a manual for it that gives complete
adjustments. Generally once it's adjusted, no more are needed. Good luck.

Thanks Rick, sometimes its the simple things that we overlook and this
suggestion may be right on the money becasue there is no fuel coming through
and we could'nt work out how to prime it. I'll let you know the results.
Thanks also Deke, I down loaded the manual as you suggested. You guys
obviously have a working knowledge of these gizmo's, so do you believe we
can do the necessary adjustments here or should it go back to the factory. I
have read the AD's on the model 2 and it appears that the bonding problems
they had with other models doesnt appy to this one.
Cheers

Oh heck no. Just start with the initial setting suggested in the manual
and fine tune from there. Just be sure and keep an eye on that thing
making all the wind.
