I have a factory tach in the back and a digital  tach in the front of my CJ.  The rear tach is showing 2300 rpm's at  idle and the front is showing 800 rpm's.  I have ohmed out the  wires,(.001-.004 resistance) changed tach's and tach  generator's.   I have run the tach generator with a drill and the tach  indicates upto 2600 rpm's and varies with the speed of the drill.  Any idea  if the front tach needs to be in the system or what else is wrong?  Thanks  Kelley
