Okay boys, We have 2 L-29 formation wanna-be's. As it was in the =
beginning, so shall it be this weekend.
Greg (Boards): Your first flight is instructional. Your second flight =
will be a recommendation ride. Could be another instruction ride if =
required.=20
If successful, your third flight will be a check ride.
The recommendation ride will be "0" instruction. Probably no talking =
from the back seat at all. Your flight leader will be the only person =
giving silent orders. To include a formation takeoff, complete flight =
and landing. Flight will consist of lead and wing positions.
For the check ride, you will brief the flight. May or may not be Sunday =
morning. Stay focused and smooth!
Bob: If you want to do formation training, you will get the ground =
school, and 3 flights if we are able. Part of your training is flying =
lead for Greg.
Friday night you will need to study the formation manual. Knowing the =
hand signals are a must.

I smell some $$ burning this weekend. Like I said, I'll be there with the jet or the lancair.
