Just a reminder to European Europa pilots:
The 2010 6 Nations Tour is scheduled for September 11-18th,
finishing at the Texel Rally. I had contemplated making it a S. Europe tour,
but having just got back from having my brains cooked in a big way in a heat
wave in Spain,(visiting all of Wellington's Battle Sites for the Dawn to
Dusk Challenge!) I am inclined to make this a N. Europe 6Ns. Anyone
interested please get in touch soonest.Regards, David Joyce, G-XSDJ

Dear David,
Please count me in for 6N I would prefer more South than North from the
weather viewpoint but will go with the majority.
I am looking forward to hearing of the success of your 'named island' and
the Duke's battlefield tours.
Yours,
Alasdair

Alasdair, Great. That makes the Tour de France trio + Bob Hitchcock/Bryan
Alsop, who would like to join on Tuesday. I completed the Wellington's
Battle Sites 2/52 ago and nearly died in the heatwave in central Spain -
airbox temperature 37.4 at 2500ft. PVC tape peeled off as did part of the
wing walk material, and I got to the point of wondering whether the plane or
the pilot was going to be the first to succumb to heat stress! I will
forward my email to Bryan so you will be 'au courant' with my thinking, but
am open to persuasion, as long as it isn't Spain in a heatwave! Regards,
David
