More rain today - lots of more rain. Started raining about 7 AM and didn't stop until about 4 PM. Many flooded roads in the camping area and lots of tents sitting in about six inches of water. Some trailers and motor homes up to their axles in mud. Aircraft parking areas are once again unusable/closed. The Lightning booth looks OK and some display aircraft, as well as other show planes arrived late yesterday but are parked on hard surfaces, either on aero shell square or on the north side at one of the two FBOs - either Basler or Orion. Also some flooded roads down town this evening when we went dinner. Hope the weather allows the Lightning and Jab guys to make it to OSH tomorrow. Last forecast I saw called for a 40 percent chance of rain tomorrow. We need at least two days for things to really dry out. Other than the grass aircraft parking areas, everything else seems to be going together for the show to start on time.
Hope to see many of you here.
Bring your snorkel.
