I drove west 150 miles, went from 100 degrees high to 62 degrees. I went to
Cambria (by Morro Bay, on the central Pacific coast). Made an offer on a
house!
The central Calif coast is cool in the summer [1] and warm and summer in the
spring fall and winter-- between storms anyway.
[1] Because the prevailing high pressure inland brings a breeze toward land
from the cold ocean currents off Calif. The hotter it is in Fresno, the
cooler it is in Cambria.
