Can anyone out there tell me which way the idle mixture set screw should be turned for leaning the Precision Airmotive carburetor on my O-320 engine? counterclockwise or clockwise? I'm assuming there is a standard direction for these carbs. I can't give you a serial number at the moment, and the meager documentation that came with the beast isn't explicit on the subject - it just advises to lean until the RPM rise is 25 to 50 when leaning to cutoff. Thanks for any help on this.

In normal carburetors CCW is richer (the needle backs out and allows more fuel to flow into the throat).
