Dear Listers,

I'm in the market for a top-notch canopy cover for the RV-8. I'm wanting the highest quality materials and workmanship on the product. I want it for overnight trips where it might rain so it needs to completely cover the front baggage door. When folded up, I don't want it to completely fill the limited rear baggage area in the RV-8, either.

I Google RV-8 Canopy Cover as well as looked at Van's Online catalog, and there seems to be plenty of "options", but I'm looking for some empirical data on quality, fit, and stowage.

Thanks in advance for your feedback!

I got a Bruce's cover at OSH two years ago. This was it's first real acid test at OSH this summer - performed great.....lots of rain. Real important is the super soft inside that rides against the canopy and does not seem to scratch it. They seem to have many custom permutations to fit your specific needs . I recommend.

Now that you are back home, wash the cover to remove all that fine grit that
gets up under the cover and sticks in the soft inner lining. If left as is
over time it will build up enough grit to scratch the windows and paint when
the wind blows hard. Ask me how I know!
