I have a wood prop kit for sale. The prop is Ed Sterba’s standard 70x82
carving and is designed for the 180 HP Lycoming, an excellent cruise prop on
the RV-6A. The package comes with ½ inch mounting holes, bolts, crush plate
and the 2.25 inch extension from Van's catalog. I'm also throwing in a
spinner with the package.

Although I never had any problems with this prop, I decided to replace it
with the metal Sensenich. Usually torqued the bolts every 25 hours,
something I don’t have to do with the metal prop, although I used to do that
during my oil changes and it wasn’t really that big of a deal. The prop
never loosened over the last couple years between torqueings, even in the
winter when it gets dry and cool here. It’s about 30 pounds lighter than the
fixed pitch Sensenich that replaces it. Price - $750.00 for the works. I
also have pictures, if you contact me off list I'll email.

My 180HP RV-6 started out with the same prop. It is great prop for this
combination and a very economical way to turn your horsepower into
usable noise.
