This is what worked for me. I chamfered a 2X6 the width of the fuselage and
placed it on jacks immediately aft of the gear. Using two jacks I was able
to raise the airplane without any visible distortion of the fuselage.
Chamfering the 2X6 allows it to set level on the jacks while still
supporting the fuselage. Would recommend minimum fuel and be sure to firmly
chock the nose gear fore and aft.
