just took in a speedster crashed hard w 912 will be parting it out , also have nice enclosed trailor $5,000

I had the same problem a couple of times. I will never go back to extension springs.
I got a compression spring kit from Spruce for ~$25. Best investment ever. It is impossible for the springs to come off now. The only trick is to keep the chains tight and be sure your ruder stops are set properly as to not allow the tailwheel to unlock too easily. Both of these are issues I am still working on...
