I am replacing the fuel pump on my Firefly, The new pump looks different from the old, has 2 bent tubes.
At the bottom fitting where the pulse ling goes there is a very small hole in the center, is this the vent?
Does this go down?
Those using this pump do you cap off one line or create a “Y” and user both chambers of the pump.
What is the most popular fittings, hose screw clamps or safety wire?
Thanks for a reply.

The small hole is the vent, and yes, it goes down. You have a dual
outlet pump. If you have a single carb engine you can cap one outlet
or tee them together, it doesn't matter... they both go to the same
place inside the pump. However, if you cap one that's less
connections to potentially fail or leak.
Personally, I prefer safety wire for hose clamps on plastic fuel line.
